"Firewall" setting? Are you speaking of "Windows" firewall or your security settings within Internet Explorer? There may be a couple of things blocking downloads. I just need clarity on what setting you feel is NOT set correctly.

I need help a fire wall setting to connection to paltalk

To open Windows Firewall, click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Windows Firewall. If you use the Advanced tab to turn off Windows Firewall for one or more individual connections, the Windows Security Center will report that the firewall is off, even though the firewall is still turned on for other connections. Also, on the General tab, Windows Firewall will still be set to On.

Hoped this helped change your settings :)

I got a message to say the resolution needed to be changed. When I clicked OK all the icons on my desktop were enlarged. How can I can them back to their original size.

Right-click the desktop and go to Properties, then click the Settings tab.
Set the screen resolution to something larger, e.g.,. if it shows 800x600, change it to 1260x1070. If that makes your icons too small, change it to 1070x768.
It is a slide control on the bottom left.
Good luck!

Not able to watch tv shows on the internet-what is going on

You may want to check your Java settings. You may have java platforms blocked by your firewall, or you may have your internet security settings too high. Another option is to go to and download the latest java update for your computer.
