Its meant to be upside down its a newtonian reflector. If you want it to be right way up you will have to buy a diagonal eye piece or glue your shoes to the roof!

Why would the images be upside down

All astronomical telescopes show the image upside down. For terrestrial use, you need a erect image prism.

Hi All, I have brought a Black TwinStar GIANT 6" MIRROR W TRIPOD -Reflector Telescope EQ Mount. I have successfully able to assemble every thing except the eye piece settings. could any one please help...

The eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it is your lowest magnification.

Put the eyepiece into the focuser and practice focusing on a distant object during the day time. The image will be upside down. NOTHING is wrong. All astronomical telescopes show upside down images.

You will also need to learn how to polar align the EQ mount. Read my tips on my profile page.

Image is upside down - why?

Yes that's correct. All astronomical telescopes show upside down images. Nothing is wrong with the scope.

You can buy an "erecting diagonal" for terrestrial viewing.

Everything is upside down on side eye piece. When viewing through the scope that's on the side of the telescope itself, everything is upside down. No matter which way it is turned, the same problem exists.

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images. It's completely normal. Nothing is wrong with the scope. For terrestril viewing you can buy an "erecting prism diagonal" which will turn the images right side up.

I recently obtained a TASCO 30-060402 telescope which is missing its eye piece's. I would like to purchase a set of eye piece's for the telescope. How may I obtain the proper eye piece set.

Measure the hole on the telescope diagonal. Eyepieces come in .965, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes.

Many on-line retailers sell them here is one:

Tasco 40-076420 for terrestrial viewing

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images-- no up or down in space!

You can buy one of these to ERECT the image-- make sure you get the correct barrel size usually 1.25 inch although some of those TASCO scopes are .965 inch. Measure the hole--

Finderscope image upside down & not focused if viewing past 100 yards

The upside down image is normal for astronomical telescopes. The finder usually is a fixed focus, but it can be altered for various eye types, by rotating the objective lens for focus - the cell should move in or out on fine threads.
