Question about Namco Tekken 2 for PlayStation 1
/_\ - Right Punch
 - Left Punch
() - Right Kick
X - Left Kick
The shoulder buttons are, by default, unconfigured, IIRC, but they can be set to any button or a few specific combinations, such as both punches, both kicks, both lefts, both right, or left kick+right punch/left punch+right kick.
Movement is only available via d-Pad, Tekken 2 was released before analog controllers were widely made available, and analog control was not included. Also, just for fun, try holding Select + UP once you have selected your character, until the fight starts, and see if you can beat the arcade mode on the highest difficulty setting now!
