Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
Many Thanks For Your Response!......But I think I have solved the problem. It all started with a paper jam & I had removed the damaged pieces, apparently all but a miniscule portion. I spent another hour with my instruction book and noted that there might be more paper blocking the ink distribution portion of the machine. I therefore made another examination form every angle and did retrieve the last small piece of paper.......However the ink failure still prevailed so I took out the black ink cartridge which I had replaced just before this all happened, put the old cartridge back in and it printed once more for about 5 minutes and then stopped. Then I put the new ink cartridge which I had previously used to replace the old one, and now the machine seems to be working ok. I am not at all happy with living in the computer-run world we live in as I am an old man who liked typing things on the typewriter using the home-row method rather than a word porcessor, but I have no choice but to do things using today's methods. I just left AOL to use the Verizon System for phone, T.V. and everything and we now even have to call our son to get the T.V. to work. Son Ric is quite involved with all the "New Stuff" as he now has his own corporation that designs and builds control systems for operating pharmaceutical labs, mushroom growing operations, etc. so he understands what it is all about. We give him every credit but he was raised in an entirely different era.......We did not even own a T.V.set when I was out of college! Thanks Again, **** Harris (Hubiedasher)
