Question about Brother DCP 130C All-In-One InkJet Printer

Not printing Hi! My name is Christine. I have a Brother DCP-130C All-In-One InkJet Printer which is only a few months old. I have just replaced the ink cartridge in the correct manner, but it doesn't want to print! Could it be that there is dried up ink somewhere in the connection? Could someone PLEASE help me, as I am desperate , I need it badly, and cannot wait 4-6 weeks before it is repaired. Hope to hear from you soon. Regards, Christine

    I did take the tape off, and yes, it was printing until it ran out, but it was a week or so before I replacec it. Could it be that the 'ink ducts' may be blocked? If so, how do I get to them?

    Was it printing before you replaced the cartridge? Did you take the tape that covers the ink cartridge nozzles off? Basic questions, but common mistakes.

  • If you replaced an ink cartridge before the LCD shows Near Empty or Ink Empty, the LCD will ask you to verify that it was a brand new one. (For example, Did You Change Blck?) For each new cartridge you installed, press up navigation key or 1 or "+" to select Yes to automatically reset the ink dot counter for that color. If the ink cartridge you installed is not a brand new one, be sure to press the down navigation key or 2 or "-" to select No.

    Hi There, I have a brother DCP-130c printer and one of the colour ink has run out. I need to be able to print with just black. Is there a way to print without replacing colour ink?

    When you click on print, click on print preferences. As shown in image below.

    On the preferences window click on Paper Quality tab and click on black and white. As shown below.

    Click on OK and then click on print.

    Note: Few new printers wont print till you replace the empty cartridges.

    DCP-135C printing crooked

    Hello! I need help!
    My Brother printer - DCP-135C
    I've changed all inks include the colours.
    I able to print the Red, blue and yellow. But I can't print the Black.
    I've tried pressed the cleaning option for many times.. Please advise some help.

    Brother DCP-130C is not printing and is refering me to the manual which is useless. It also says "Unit unable 43" .

    Brother DCP-130C refuses to print the magenta ink

    If you don't print at least once a month, you will clog the machine. You unfortunately have to get it fixed by a professional or get a new printer. Sorry!
