Question about Washing Machines
My washer would fill/drain ok but would not agitate or spin. I unplugged the washer and listened for the motor to click. When the motor clicked I plugged the washer back in. Then I opened and closed the lid 10 times. I turned the washer to the drain/spin position and turned it on. The belt moved back and forth several times and then went into a fast spin.

Well I know part of the answer and am looking for the exact sequence. Washer has to be reset. Sounds easy but I've had 3 techs tell me how to do it. I've been successful once.
First time I the tech told me how to do it I thought he was yanking my chain. Unplug, wait 60 secs, plug in turn on off 3 times, open and close lid 10 or 12 times, pray twice. Or some thing like that.
Has anybody found any write-up on the sequence?
