Dell screen is upside down as soon as it gets to the icons it turns upside down

Hi.

You may have accidentally hit a sequence of keys and now your Windows screen is upside down.

Press Ctrl + Alt + arrow (left, right, up or down) to rotate the screen to the correct way.

To reverse the upside down screen mode , press contro,l alt, and the up arrow at the same time; the screen will probably go blank. Turn off the monitor, turn it on again and the display will be normal again.

Within Windows XP, certain video drivers or graphics card chipsets supporting 180 degree screen rotation can cause the Windows XP display to be presented upside down. This can be (but is not always) tied to lowering the screen resolution in some accessibility programs.

To revert to a right-side up display, hold down the CTRL, ALT and UP (arrow) keys.

You need to turn off the ceiling mode to get the picture to project correctly. This is in the Settings Menu. See page 37 of the manual which is currently available here: http://cncms.com.au/SANYO-IMs/Commercial-Industrial/plcsw30_im.pdf .

Press Menu. Then use the left/right arrows to move to the icon with the projector and screen shown. (Note: right now this row will be on the bottom of your screen and the icon will be to the left side of the row.) Press the down arrow and move to the Ceiling icon with the R. It should be the seventh icon from the upside down "Up" arrow; it's next to the Capture icon with a camera. (Normally, ceiling icon shows as an upside down R when your image is projected right-side up. There is also a rear-projector icon with a mirror image R when the image is right-side up.) Press Select and then use the arrow keys to choose the On/Off options. You may need to press Select again to save the setting.

It happens only in DELL computers.

Press and hold CTRL and SHIFT together and strike F12 function key. Now your screen will be offset. If any clarification please revert

Hold down CTRL and ALT keys and press UP arrow to turn it back to normal. For the screen size, right click on an empty space on Desktop and select Properties then go to Settings tab. On screen resolution move the bar to adjust the screen size to your desired one.

well im not a great tech but i can give you one solution, you can try to connect it to ANY monitor from the VGA port of your laptop, just find a PC monitor to do this with. to "flip" the screen to different angles you will have to be logged on.

This Should Be Taken To A Specialist. The Screen Goes Upside Down Because There Is A Malfunction In The Magnetic Sensors So It Believes Its Closed. The Other Problems Just Sound Hay Wire.

Once, at University, someone had flipped the screens of all the public computers (running on Windows XP) of the English Department upside down. The wallpaper, desktop icons, fonts, mouse-cursor and even the start-up screen...everything was displayed or moved upside down. People could not check out their e-mails or surf or do anything.
