Question about Mitsubishi WD-62525 62" Rear Projection HDTV
Thanks for your previous response. (Are you asking about the wd62525? If so that's a v26 chassis and equipped with a self diagnostic test by flashing a series of two digit sequence after depressing the power button. After depressing the power button count the number of flashes - then you'll see a slight pause - then another series of flashes. (for example: four flashes, pause and four more flashes is an error code 44). The unit repeats this coding at least three times so be as accurate as possible.)
I cannot turn the tv on at all? The flashing timer light is consistent with no pattern.
Press and hold "Device" and "Menu" buttons for six seconds and see if you then get a patter of flashes pertaining to the error codes... I would suspect one of the following codes:
12 No Error Detected
22 Recovery From Momentary Reset
32 Lamp Cover Open
33 Air Filter Cover Open
34 Lamp Abnormality
35 Chassis Fan Failure
36 Exhaust (Back Cover) Or Lamp Ballast Fan Failure
37 Engine (Dmd Or Lamp) Fan Failure
38 Excess Lamp Temperature
39 Excess Dmd Temperature
41 Short Detected
44 Dvi Cable (Between Chassis And Engine) Disconnected

If the timer light keeps flashing with no pattern. You have one or or two problems first the CAPs on your power supply board are puffed and need replaced. There are usually four of them that go out on the power board they are in the top right hand side of the power board. IF this does not fix it then you have a bad FMT board and it is no longer available.
