My Canon PowerShot A560 keeps

My Canon PowerShot A560 keeps shutting down and says "replace batteries." I have replaced the AAA batteries several times and also the time battery. This does not seem to fix the problem because the message "replace batteries" keeps reappearing. Any suggestions you may have would be appreciated.
