Question about PC Desktops

I cannot print a photo, I insert a glossy photo paper in the printer, it requires paper, when it is already in it. My prianter is MFC-240-C. Can you help me†

1st check your printer connection with your pc by do print test, if ok, check your setting by click properties option in mode start printing , set your properties by choose paper mode, so you can try print again

Will not print photo from main tray


The printer will automatically select the "Print Quality" Media based on its driver settings or the device settings.

You will need to access the properties of your printers software to assure that you have selected photo paper for the tray you wish.

Depending on which model of printer your using, you may have to access the Settings/Options/Page Setup/Tray Setup Menu. Consult your Owners Manual for settings these Tray options. Make sure you have set the tray you wish for Photo Paper (or comparable quality option)

My Inkjet 2800 won't print DWG. (CAD) files. I have no problem with other files; word, excel, photos ... When I try a CAD file, the printer shows "printer error."


Does the printer show you Printer error with number and letters following it? Prior to printing, check the 'print preview' to see how the layout of the printing is showing. If the CAD drawing is not adjusted to fit on the paper in the printer, you may from time to time get a printer error.

I have a Dell 946 printer and Im trying to print Avery 8871 business card sheets. When I press print the printer will not feed the sheet through and it says there is no paper. I tried to adjust the...


I looked up the user guide at Dell's website and looked up printing cards.

  • The print side of the cards faces down.
  • The cards are centered on the paper exit tray.
  • You select Automatic, Normal, or Photo print quality.

  • Apparently you need to feed the card stock one page at a time into the printer on TOP of the paper exit try (The card stock will feed in from above the normal paper load try [remove paper from the paper tray] and once printed come back to the same spot.

    Blotchy prints


    First, make sure your print cartridges are aligned by going to your printer software and printing out an alignment page. Secondly, adjust your printer software/properties to make sure your printing to your best photo quality. Third and most important, make sure you have the right kind of printer paper, which is probably the main reason that your page is blotchy.


    Another reason its blotchy would be if the printer was not a good one.

    Have installed new printer a message pops up saying the printer is out of paper even though there is plenty of paper in tray.


    Hey buddy,

    Follow the below steps:

    Step one:
    Check the media and print settings
    While the printer is on, remove the power cord from the back of the printer, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
    If the printer is not already on, turn it on by pushing the power button.
    Replace any paper that is ripped, dusty, wrinkled, or bent. If the paper is curled, uncurl the paper by gently bending it in the opposite direction of the curl or replace the paper.
    NOTE: Use plain paper in the unit until the issue is resolved.
    Verify that all the paper is the same size and type.
    Tap the stack of paper on a flat surface to align the edges.
    Verify that the stack of paper to be loaded in the unit contains between 10 and 25 sheets of paper.
    NOTE: Do not load too much paper in the printer.
    Insert the stack of paper into the printer and then gently push the paper guides snugly against the paper.
    Adjust the paper settings in the print driver. The paper settings in the print driver must match the paper settings for at least one of the installed paper trays.
    Open a document in the application in which it was created.
    Click File .
    Click Print .
    Click Properties . The Printer Properties dialog box displays.
    Click the Paper/Quality tab.
    In the Size is drop-down menu, select the size of the paper loaded in the unit.
    In the Type is drop-down menu, select the type of paper loaded in the unit.
    Click OK .
    NOTE: These changes do not change the default print settings. The print settings will revert to the default print settings the next time the application is opened.
    On the Print dialog box, click OK to print the document.
    Try printing again. If the issue is not solved, continue on to the next section.
    NOTE: If the issue is resolved and you want to print on another type of media, change the paper in the unit and then repeat steps 2 through 7 for the new media.
    Step two: Clean the rollers
    Turn off the product and unplug the power cord.
    Open the access door to gain access to the rollers. Depending on the model, this is usually the rear access door. See the product user guide for information about locating the rollers.
    Clean the rubber rollers with a lint-free cloth, lightly moistened with water.
    NOTE: Distilled, filtered, or bottled water is recommended for cleaning the rollers. Tap water might contain contaminants that can damage the rollers.
    Make sure that any paper rollers that rest on the input tray, which are located behind the back rollers, are cleaned. A clean cotton swab, lightly moistened with water, might be necessary to reach these rollers.
    Close the access door and plug in the power cord.
    Try printing again. If the issue is not resolved, continue to the next step.
    Step three: Service the product
    If you have completed all the steps and are still experiencing a problem, service your product.

    Cause of this problem:

    Any of the following issues can cause the error message to appear:
    The paper trays are empty or overloaded.
    The paper is curled.
    The print side, or shiny side, of the paper is not loaded in the input tray face down.
    The paper might not be engaged with the feed rollers.
    The paper-width guide is pressed against the paper stack too tightly.
    The paper tray is not completely inserted into the product.
    The paper settings in the print driver do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray.
    The rubber paper-feed rollers are coated with dust.

    Black ink rubs off when using publisher 2007 on glossy photo paper with my new canon pixma IP4500


    you may need to try photo ink, because normal printing ink doesnt dry quickly on glossy paper.

    MFC 210C not printing black, repeated cleaning produces no result. replacing cartridge the same.


    Check the height adjustment of the print head for the black cartridge. If you've had a recent paper jam, it could have a piece stuck in mechanics. Clean and check the printer drive belt and track.
    You may want to check the printer setup and make sure it is set to factory defaults.

    Brother mfc printer


    Hi Lera,
    In you brother suite you can go to the maintanence tab and do the nozzle clean and print head allignment.
    After you do that print a test page, either from the suite on in the properties of your printer.
    You can also do general maintanence from the LCD screen on the MFC.
    Scroll through the menu and you will find there are options for head cleaning and nozzle allignment.
