How to remove front from frigidaire dryer

1)The first thing you need to do is unplug the dryer.
2) You will need to pop the top of the dryer. This can be done with a flat screwdriver. Place the driver between the top and the front of the dryer and basically just pry upwards.
3)Now, that you can see inside the dryer, the next thing is to remove the front of the machine. At the upper left and right sides you will find a screw that holds the front to the frame of the dryer.Remove these screws and you can take the front off.

My dryer keeps shutting off every 10 to 15 minutes. I have changed the motor and it still does the same thing. The elements are good cause they have continuity thru them. I need help to get this problem...

It's difficult to say because there is missing info, but, the first thing I would look for in a dryer would be a clog on the exhaust to the outside of the house that might make the dryer overheat. There is probably a safety circuit breaker or overload that "trips" when the dryer overheats. It could also be that there is something stuck on the outside of the dryer drum that may be causing it to have higher friction than usual and possibly slowing down the motor.

Frigidaire clothes dryer struck by lightning

First thing you need to do is determine that it is the dryer. we had a similar problem and it turned out to be the connections in the dryer plug. you should have 2 prongs in the plug with 120volts and one hole with no voltage.

Wiring wiring the dryer plug on a hotpoint dryer

First thing do you have a 3 or 4 prone cord?
For 3 prong, when looking at block where cord attaches you have a left, center, and right screws, attach just like cord 3 wires, left on left, center on center, right on right. The only thing different with a 4 prone is you have a ground wire which grounds to ground screw on dryer.

Dryer will spin but won't heat up

Hi

Things that could stop a electric dryer from heating:
  • house fuse or breaker ( needs two of them )
  • heating element, burnt wire
  • thermostat(s), thermal fuse ( not all models ),
  • motor heat switch, timer, selector switch,
  • burnt power cord/plug.
You can check these things using an ohmmeter/multimeter from here.

Things that could stop a gas dryer from heating:

  • glow bar igniter,
  • thermal fuse ( not all models ),
  • coils on the gas valve, gas valve, thermostats,
