Explanation
A 924.xx error message indicates that an "open circuit" has been detected in the fuser unit.
What to do

  1. If this is the first time you have seen the error, turn the printer off.
  2. Leave the printer off for at least 10 seconds to give it a chance to reset, then turn it back on.
  3. If this does not clear the fuser error, the printer will probably require service. The parts most likely to be causing this error are the following:

1st, the fuser unit ( this is the most likely of the three )

    2nd, the system board
3rd, the low voltage power supply unit.

These parts will need to be inspected by a service technician and replaced as necessary.

    IMPORTANT!
If this is an intermittent error, you may want to check how the printer is plugged into the wall. Make sure it is plugged straight into the wall and not through a surge device or power strip. Power strips and uninterrupted power supplies can cause a low amperage problem in the printer which can trigger a false fuser error. This is true even if the printer has worked on this surge device previously.

How to fix Lexmark T632 924 service Fuser error

924 is an open thermister error. The thermistor controls when power is actually applied to the heating lamp on the fuser. I used to have this problem with other Lexmark models and was able to replace the thermister itself. The thermister is located on the top cover of the fuser. If you have a real Radio Shack near you they should have them. I believe that the temperature should be around 400F.

Lexmark t-620 print spots

That usually indicates a worn heat roller in the fuser assembly. You can get a fuser from Amazon or other online site. They are user replaceable and run about $80-100. Do a search for T620 fuser and you will find them. Part number 99a2402 What happens is the Teflon coating on the fuser wears down which allows the toner to stick where is should not stick so it gets deposited on the paper in other locations and leaves spots.

I have an error message that says 924 service Fuser Error What does that mean?

Service Fuser Error appears when the fuser does not warm to the required temperature. For this error on this Lexmark model T632, the manual states you should power off the printer and power it back on, and if it is not plugged into a wall power point, change it to a power point mounted directly on the wall. Personally, I never got a Lexmark printer to work doing this, but this is in the manual. If this won't help, and the printer is under warranty, you should log it in with the servicing company.

If the printer is out of warranty, your next option is to change the fuser yourself which costs around $350, so I think you would be better off getting a new printer unless you find a second hand fuser on Ebay.

Fusher eror 924

924 Fuser Error - Open circuit detected in thermistor circuit. The thermistor provides feedback on the temperature of the fuser roller and when it fails, the fuser normally does not heat up.
It means either disassembling the fuser and replacing the thermistor ( if you can find one) or replacing the fuser assembly.
so i would suggest that take it to nearest service centre of lexmark. best of luck

Lexmark T620 Fuser Error

922 fuser error can mean to things #1 the fuse in the low voltage could be blown. #2 the thermal fuse or the lamp are blown in the fuser. looking at the back of the printer the outer rear cover door remove it by opening to a 45 degree angle and lift it off. on the inner rear cover there are to flat head screws loosen these the will not come off the cover. at the top of this cover there is one tab on each side pull in on these and pull the rear covere off this will leave you looking at the fuser. there are to screws holding the fuser in loosen these they will not come off the fuser. from the center of the fuser tray pull straight back. on the front of this fuser you will see 2 white connectors one has a single row of connections this is the ac circuit with a multi tester check resistance from pin 1 to pin 3 if you get no reading then it is the fuser. try this you can find out for sure

Lexmark T62 Error 32- Unsupported print cartridge

Hi Sue,
Firstly, switch on the printer without a cartridge inside. Put in the old cartridge and if you get the Error 32, it could be poor contact. Clean the contacts in the printer (contact with the chip on the cartridge). If you don't get Error 32, there could be a problem with the chip contacts on the new OEM Lexmark cartridge or a faulty chip. As for other brands or remanufactured cartridges, it could be compatible parts they used. The chip and toner wheel have to be compatible.
Good luck.
