If the ringout volume is very low, then try not to select a soft, silent or low ringing tone. Try to choose a ringing tone that is loud so that you can hear your phone ringout. Hope that was helpful?
The HP All-in-One provides three levels for adjusting the Ring and Beep Volume and the Phone Line Monitor Volume.
The ring volume is the volume of the phone rings. The beep volume is the level of button press and error beeps. The default Ring and Beep Volume setting is Soft.
The Phone Line Monitor Volume is the volume of dial tones and fax tones. The default Phone Line Monitor Volume is Medium.
To adjust the Ring and Beep Volume from the control panel
1. Press Setup.
2. Press 4, and then press 4 again. This selects Basic Fax Setup and then selects Ring and Beep Volume.
3. Press to select one of the options: Soft, Loud, or Off.
4. Press OK.
To adjust the Phone Line Monitor Volume from the control panel
1. Press Setup.
2. Press 4, and then press 5. This selects Basic Fax Setup and then selects Phone Line Monitor Volume.

(for land line) Behind the phone one volume adjusting button is there, medium & loud you have to select loud one,or cell phone first go to menu then setting, then tones then ringing volume you have to adjust volume maximum and save changes.
check the settings in your phone book. this happened to my phone and all of the personal ring tones were set to vibrate. I don't know how this happened. I went into each contact and changed the ring tone to none and I am back in business
