Question about Crosley CDE6000 Electric Dryer
My electric Crosley Dryer does nothing. It's about 9 years old. The light inside isn't even working. I have tested the outlet and am getting power to the wall. Tested continuity of the plug and it has continuity. Tested the little round thing on top of the drum that has wires going to each end of it. Not sure what it is but I took the wires off it and it still had continuity. What is wrong with my dryer?
The fuse mounts on side of the heater. Its little clip is held to the side of the heater chamber by the same screw which holds the heater element down. It has 2 white wires going to it. Clean out the dryer and check for blocked vent and loose blower wheel. good luck Kimosabe. To access the heater pop the top:
the heater is on the rear bulkhead, remove the front and inspect the filter area and blower assembly.
