SOURCE: tvalue 4 for windows will not print with a new printer

This is a work around as I have the same problem. If I change the default printer to something other then the HP printer, then select Page Setup, I can then select the HP without the program erroring out. You can even set the HP back to default and TValue will continue to work fine until you restart the computer.

TValue 4 is a 16 bit application which was last updated in 1997. By using a new printer you are mixing old and new technology and therin compatibility becomes an issue.

The only work around is to return to your old printer, or purchase the new version of TValue which is compatible with newer OS like Windows 7.

GOT NEW COMPUTER CAN I PUT MY MICROSOFT 2007 PRODUCT KEY IN THIS ONE AND HOW

Hi,

It technically depends on the EULA (End User License Agreement) on that particular installation of Office. You should be able to uninstall on your old computer and install on the new computer using the original Office disc. When you reach activation, it will either complete successfully or prompt you to reactivate. Follow the instructions for phone activation and you should be good to go.

I have a 2000 version of cosmi world atlas or which love to use in my classroom. Purchased a new windows 7 computer and the program will not load. Thanks

I am not surprised, 10 year old software will not work in modern OS.
Your only hope is to either try and install the software under compatability mode ( right click the .exe file on the disc / properties, you will find a compatability tab, click run this program in compatability mode, and choose windows 2000, or win 98)
You could also install the software in a virtual machine. Google virtual machine (VM ware) for more info

I lost product key office

If you have the original disc you can look on the discs cover at the back you will find the key or you may call microsoft they will help you in this. This software is a paid software so there is no other way to get the key.

However if you want you can install a software(open office) that is exactly same as ms office and that is available for free you can download it by visiting www.openoffice.org.

Will not instal on vista

Check out this site:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929427

Confirm that you have updated, and check any of the manual updates.

Unfortunately Vista does have alot of updates marked "manual" which are very important.

The site also explains how to run the program, once installed, in compatibility mode, which will be required.

Don't get discouraged, many of us have to fight with these issues do to Vista's infancy.

Good Luck

Sure thing. The license is per computer. You should uninstall it from the current computer being used before you reinstall it on the new computer.

Writing bottable disk

Here are the instructions, taken right out of Nero's manual for Burning ROM 8. page 42:

9.3 Creating and Burning a Bootable Disc
To create a bootable disc, proceed as follows:
1. Click on the New button in the main Nero Burning ROM screen.
The New Compilation window is opened.
2. If you want to create a bootable CD, select the entry CD from the combo box and the entry
CD-ROM (Boot) from the list box. If you want to create a bootable DVD, select the entry
DVD from the combo box and the entry DVD-ROM (Boot) from the list box.
The tabs for the bootable disc are displayed; the Boot tab is in front.
3. If the template data for the bootable disc should originate from a logical drive:
1. Select the Bootable logical drive option button in the Source of boot image data area.
2. Select the entry you want from the drop-down menu.
If the logical drive you want does not appear in the drop-down menu, the reason for this is
that the drive is bigger than the space available on the disc. Please note that for operating
systems as of Microsoft® Windows® 2000 you need to have administrator rights in order to
be able to access drives directly, which you will need to do if you are to create bootable
discs.
4. If the template data for the bootable disc should originate from an image file:
1. Select the Image file option button in the Source of boot image data area.
2. Click on the Browse button and select the desired image file.
3. Select the language that should appear while the system is booting from the Boot locale
drop-down menu.
4. Check the Enable expert features box and select the emulation type for the image file
from the Emulation type drop-down menu.
5. Select any other options required on the tabs (see New Compilation Window).
6. Click on the New button.
 The selection screen is displayed.
7. Select the files/folders that should be written to the ISO part of the bootable disc and drag
them into the compilation area.
The files/folders are displayed in the compilation area and the capacity bar indicates how
much storage space is required on the disc.
You have now created the bootable disc and can start the burn process (see Starting
the Burn Process).
