When I try to use my automatic start on my viper sst my car wont start up.

try disconnecting the battery for a minute.

You should still be able to use your key.

To manually disarm the alarm, turn the ignition on, press and release the valet switch. Start the vehicle.

The car's computer wont let it start?
Well, if you changed the battery and the viper alarm is the issue; locate the push button valet/programming switch. Turn the ignition on, press and release the switch. The alarm will disarm and you can start the vehicle.
To put the alarm in valet, turn the ignition on then off, within 10 seconds press and release the valet switch. The LED will illuminate solid to show that the system is in valet.

Make sure you turn the key to the on/run position, then once you place your foot on the brakes to put the vehicle in gear the remote will beep and recognize the alarm.

usually viper systems just need program button and ignition key. start by turning key to run then press the program button once then press again and hold. then press lock button of transmitter you want to add, parking lights should flash and then indicating that it is programmed. let go of switch and turn key off. try remote. good luck

Put the key in the ignition turn in two clicks. Take the key out hold down the program/valet button on the remote start then hit the unlock button on the remote.

Try to relearn the tach by cranking the car and holding the valet switch(small black push button) until the LED lights solid.The try it again

Try putting the key in the key cylinder but do not turn it at all. Then try and remote start the car. If it works then your bypass module is bad and needs to get replaced.
