Question about Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop
I just bought an internal card multi card reader. I have have a dell Dimension 4600i and when I unplugged the front usb ports from the mother board and all the usb went dead. Is there a splitter I can get so I can run the front usb plugs and the new internal multi card reader?
You did not have to unplug the onboard USB ports.
Your OS should see the card reader and set it up, unless you are using Win98 or WinME. I would plug the onboard USB ports, then restart with the new internal card installed.
