Question about Canon imageRUNNER C3220 Color Copier

1 Answer

We cannot seem to make a copy darker??

We have the Canon imageRUNNER C3220. There is a button that shows that you can adjust the color to lighten or darken, but even when you change the setting to darken the copy is always the same. It doesn't seem to work.

We have tried everything we can think of. I see a couple of people have posted this problem. Does anyone know how to get this to work?

I would suggest that 1st you do the auto gradation adjustment full adjust under add function /adjustment cleaning then under additional functions look for one that says printer settings you can adjust black density under that setting

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Want a B&W copy from colored sheet of paper w/o dark background.

It's never going to be perfect (unless the background is quite light in colour), because the copier basically "sees" the coloured background as "gray", and the darker the background the more "gray" it looks. Try setting the original type to "photo" mode, and then adjusting the exposure a little lighter/darker....that's all you can basically do.
