Question about Acomdata PHD060U2E-54 60 GB USB 2.0 Hard Drive
Dear Top, How to I change my Vista Computer to xp. I purchased new xp software from Microsoft. Should I have this done at at professional computer shop? Thanks, Duane Green
Hello, Yes I think so because if you have a new computer you gonna get problem to find your sata driver when you trying to install your XP, also you need to search and install the drivers manually and that can be hard if you dont have a other computer with network access to Internet. Its the easiast way to get your computer to XP. if you had the restore cds to your computer it should be easy to recovery your computer to XP.

Tips for a great answer:
The most common way that most of us know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing a battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased.
Under the keyboard or bottom of laptop - If you are working on a laptop computerthe location of the dipswitch (almost never a jumper) can be under the keyboard or on the bottom of the laptop in a compartment such as the memory compartment.
If it fails, then try to remove the battery for at least one hour.
click start control panel Open User Accounts in Control Panel. On the Users tab, click the name of the user whose password you want to change, and then click Reset Password. In New password and Confirm new password, type the new password, and then click OK. Notes You can change passwords only for local computer accounts, such as guest, administrator, or accounts you create for your computer. You cannot change your network logon password in User Accounts. To change your own password, press CTRL ALT DELETE and then click Change Password
