This setting is a blast,I adapted it from the 10 band "perfect" itunes eq setting. don' t be shy , give it a try...
80hz = (2) or 7
220hz = (0) or 5
470hz = (-1) or 4
1khz = -(-2) or 3
2.2khz= (0) or 5
4.7khz =(2) or 7
12khz= (4) or 9

I have this on my LG tv, however if you need more oomph! to it, simply stick to the same pattern between the two sets above and move each slider up accordingly.

    update to my previous post.
    I added "acoustifeet" (I chose the firm variety- link at end of post) to the rear of the bezel and to the base and eliminated all buzzing.
    I also have enhanced EQ settings as follows:

    80hz = (-1)
    220hz = (0)
    470hz = (+3)
    1khz = (+5)
    2.2khz= (-3)
    4.7khz =(+3)
    12khz= (+5)

    Final updated version:

    80hz = (-5)
    220hz = (-4)
    470hz = (-5)
    1khz = -(-6)
    2.2khz= (-4)
    4.7khz=(-2)
    12khz= (0)

Hi,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me".

The general setting would be what is pleasant and does not overload the system. Some have reported settings like:

  • 1 (leftmost) a notch or two above mid;
  • 2 two notches down;
  • 3 a notch below the setting of 1;
  • 4 largely dependent on the preference, personally a notch below center;
  • 5, 6 7 two notches above last freq.
Some other factor to consider when adjusting the EQ:
  • personal preference;
  • resonant frequency of some items within the listening area;
  • amp response to different frequencies;
  • speaker response, placement, capacity and performance.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

I can't play rock band for my ps3

There should've been a patch released for that, but you gotta go to to accessory settings and reassign your rockband peripherals to any slots 1-4, if its 5-7 they wont work.

Best settings on a 9 band eq for rock and r&b

Provided the rest of your system is all tuned an in proper shape, and up for the wattts, the best sound to set, starting with the low end...start with is a slightly elevated above zero (about 1/4 up from zero) then slowly gradually slope it down to 1/4 below zero in middle and then back up to 1/4 above at the high end.

The result is a gently curved V type shape.

Now, knock down the highest 2 or 3 freq bands a few clicks till they are just above zero. (1/8).

This is the curve you would shoot for with a real-time analyzer for SQ, punch and clarity.

Lights flashing on guitar and usb

If you are using the Fender Stratocaster Rock Band Guitar:

1) Ensure you have fresh batteries in the Wireless Guitar
2) Insert receiver into USB hub
3) Turn on Guitar via switch on back.
4) If both the guitar and the USB receiver is flashing blue, then press the guitar logo button until flashing blue light on the receiver stops flashing.

Note that on Rock Band 1, non-Rock Band guitars (ie: Guitar Hero and Wiimote based guitars) generally don't work.

Good luck!

Guitar not working

Rock Band's guitar has been identified as a generally unreliable piece of hardware http://support.ea.com/rockband

EA has guaranteed an exchange for the defect hardware.

Alternatively some people have reported regaining syunchronisation by holding down all the white buttons on the guitar simultaneously to re-establish the connection.

Hope it helped
