Question about Televison & Video
Make sure that there are no solder bridges between the i.c. pins. Check all low value resistors for the correct readings with an ohmmeter. Also, sometimes after replacing the convergence chips you must replace the open pico fuses.(small, resistor-like fusable links that are soldered into the board). Occasionally a full realignment must be done to reconverge the three projection tubes. If it is digital convergence you will need the service manual or a trained tech. More than likely you just need to remove any excess solder and solderwick helps with that. Good luck, Russmann.
