Kindly check the MUTE ON/OFF option, if it is turned on , make it off and check , if still not getting the voice the the problem is in hardware part like the speaker is damaged, you can check this by switching on the call on speaker phone.

How can I reset the volume control? All of a sudden, I can barely hear with the volume set at max.

You do not mention the type of Motorola radio so this answer will be general. You may have a problem with your volume potentiometer, Receive (Rx) sensitivity, or a speaker problem.
The volume pot on a 2-way radio is a common failure item, and will after repeated use possibly fail, or get dead spots. Try backing off your volume to 75% and see if it is louder at this setting. If so, you have a bad volume pot.
Rx sensitivity can be caused by various internal problems with the radio, and some models are more prone to this than others. Operating your radio at full volume most of the time can bring this issue to the forefront. (Tip: Try running your radios at 80-90% volume vs. full volume to alleviate this problem.) If this is your issue, your effected radios are in need of repair. Most repair facilities (including ours) can correct Rx sensitivity in most models during a repair.
Speaker problems: If you work in an environment where dirt, debris or metal shavings can get inside the speaker, your speaker may fail over time. Or if you run your radio at full volume the majority of the time it can cause your speaker to fail.
Best regards.

I have had that laptop once and had the same problem. I knew that it was the maximum volume of the speaker so I purchased external USB speakers to connect to the computer and the sound was clear and loud enough to hear anything played on the computer.

Thanks

No webcam sound

The problem is probably in their set up, unless your speakers have a problem - you do have speakers?
Your webcam has no bearing on their broadcast or audio - in fact you can still see and hear other contacts even if you have no webcam installed yourself.

Check your speakers

TEST SPEAKERS
Right click on speaker icon in System Tray or from Control Panel
Select "Playback Devices"
The speaker icon ( checked as working) and volume level graph should be visible
Right click on the volume graph and click "Test"
Left hand speakers followed by right hand should be heard

If you have a desktop and no speakers fitted buy, a set of headphones for your chats

Can only hear on speakerphone

This speakerphone is a separate speaker from the handset speaker, so if you can't hear through the handset and you have ensured that the volume in your profile is set up to max, then I would have to say there is something wrong with the handset speaker.

Hope this helps,
Bill

Without knowing what you're listening to, through what software and how your soundcard is set up this is tough. Is there a Karaoke application in this equation?

I have a problem with 6610i set that I can't able to hear other person's voice -

This sounds like the speaker in your handset which transmits sound to your ear is either faulty or turned down. Check the volume on your handset is set to max.

If the speaker in the handset is faulty - to trouble shoot this try using a handsfree kit which plugs in to the bottom of the phone and if the ear piece works correclty on a call through the handsfree eairpiece then your phone may have a fault.
