Then there is something stuck in the paper feed path which is holding up the sensor flag making it think there is paper in it.

Or maybe the sensor flag has been broken off by yanking paper out the wrong way when it gets stuck.

Get your vacuum cleaner and stick the hose down the paper feed path and see if it suck out a push pin, piece of paper paper, fur ball, eraser, coin, toe nail, false eye lash etc (all of which I have removed from machines with "paper jams")

SOURCE: canon iP 3300 printer service error 6502

CANON PIXMA IX IP 4000 - error 5100 and error 6502

While testing the printer the cover must be closed!
So if you have a CISS in your printer you have to close the cover after replacinq cartridge because after that
replacinq the printer is testinq the cartridges also with the blinkinq LEDS which are installed on the ink's!
There is a light LED sensor under the cover which detects the blinking.
So if you have destroyed the LED on chips or if you covered them with glue OR if you will leave the cover opened
and press cover-open detection button with a pen (then the day ambient light will come inside to cover)
you will get an error 6502 or error 5100. I think that the same error will come with all printers which use
CLI8 CLI-8 cartridges.
Remebre that the blinking led have to be clean and blink after installing new cartidge.

Other reason is that you mixed the chips ang give i.e. chip from yellow to blue and blue to i.e.red. and black to yello etc etc. (YOU MIXED THEM :) )
I hope it will help

SOURCE: Epson Stylus TX110 printer paper jam light flashing but no paper

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Ink light and paper light flash alternatively, printer does not work

Hi - According to the Epson manual that error indicates that paper may be blocking movement of the print head.
Turn off the printer, then open the cover and remove any jammed paper or foreign objects. Turn the printer on. If the lights continue to flash you're most likely going to need a dealer service.
Hope it's the paper.

Epson Stylus 1200 lights indicate carriage jam

This means that your Epson printer has come to its end of life. In short, Epson wants you to retire your printer and buy a new one. Your Epson printer may be in good shape which is often the case. But Epson has this build-in "feature" which they want you to buy a new one.

Both ink and rubbish light is flashing and wont go off

Rubbish light?? Do you mean the paper light is flashing?

When both the ink and paper lights are flashing together and the power light is off, the printer has an internal failure. Turn the printer off, wait a little while and turn it back on. If the error persists, decide if the printer is worth servicing. Since it is no longer sold by Epson, I assume it is out of warranty.

If the ink and paper lights are flashing in an alternating pattern, something may be blocking the print head from moving. Check for jams and clear them. If the error persists, it's service time (if you want to spend a minimum of ~$50 for diagnosis).

I wish that I could be of more help.

Epson c90 paper feed problem

Is the message general error? The problem is tchip. When turn on chip is recognized by printer, but when start to print, printer "read" some information from the chip. Here is the error. Some pin at the chip for redaing the existence of chip, other pin for reading the information. Check connector between chip and carriage.
