NOt filling with water

I have a DI67. It beeps when I switch it on (as normal), and the second of the 4 lights comes on, but then it does absolutely nothing.
I have checked the filters (all clear), I have tried tilting it too but no water drains out when I do this.

what would you suggest?

Cycle starts waters comes in, after about 30 seconds water goes out beeps 4 times goes off

Hi
It would be helpful to know the brand/ model etc.
Usually if the water gets in, and then drains out straight away, the dishwasher thinks that it is either not filling, or over filling. If there are 2 pressure switches, there would be one for fill and one for overflow, the fill one (or the pressure tube to it) would be faulty.
Otherwise, if there is only one pressure switch, it may be a dual switch, in which case it is faulty.
If it is a whirlpool or LG, there may be an issue with the flow meter which checks the volume of water coming in.
Best of luck with it. If there are further issues try to supply more info in your response as while dishwashers all do the same thing, some brands go about it in very different ways.

Hi there

I have had this problem before. If your dishwasher is not level water collects at the front. Try tilting your machine forwards. Be carefull though as water will come out of the bottom. Once you have done this and reset your machine it should be ok.

Indesit Di 67

Tilt your washer forwards. Water will leak from the front but once this has cleared your dishwasher should be ok again. I paid an engineer to come and tell me this. If your dishwasher is not completely level this can sometimes happen. Hope this helps.

Dishwasher problem

My dishwasher Indesit DI67S will not run on the number 1 cycle. It will fill and then when that programme finishes it jumps straight to the drying cycle missing all the rinses out etc. If on the number 2 programme it goes all the way through but then doesn't dry. I've also noticed that the water doesn't seem to be heating up much and certainly isn't drying. Is this the element or something else? Once its reached the drying cycle the light for this just flashes then I have a job to try and reset the machine. It can take endless attempts. Will switching the machine off at the mains solve anything or is it the element?
Thankyou

DI 67 S fault

Try to tilt your dishwasher forwards. Be aware that water will leak out of the front. Once this is clear it should work. I paid an engineer to come and tell me this. If your machine is not completely level it causes it to over fill and after a time will not work. Good Luck

Indesit di67 dishwasher

Did you check the float switch? it is bottom of the dishwasher ( may be under the dish washer Bosch / Danby .. it should move freely up and down.. make sure that there is not something under it .. Also to much soap can stick the the float in the up position. if it moves freely test it. unplug the dishwasher or shut off the power at the breaker. Check for continuity with the terminals removed...if you don't have it you have a bad switch...let me know if it helps
