Hi,
You will need to have it taken someplace and checked out. If and amp or receiver doesn't come out of protect, that means that there is a fault inside that could damage the amp or the speakers if it completes the power-on process. It most often indicates a blown/dying power transistor/s.

I have a ma audio hk-602sx and my protect light wont go off and somthing is clicking inside and as it clicks the protect light blinks.

Disconnect the speakers and then try it again...there may be a shorted speaker or wire if the amp comes out of protect after you disconnect the wires...if the amp stays in protect after you disconnect the wires then there is a problem inside the amp with the circuitry and it will need to get serviced by an electronic tech

Protection lights stays on and my radio no longer ejects after the installation

The amp is staying on with the car off because the amp turn on lead (remote) is being powered to 12v constant and not 12v switched (from the radio or ignition). CD's not changing could indicate a problem with a defective head-unit.

Nitro 1000 w amp

unplug the speakers and the RCA leads from the amp, if the red protection light is still lit then its 1 of your linear amps blown or mosfet depending what your amp uses..if the red light does go off with the leads all disconnected, then connect 1 lead at a time and check the light, when you connect the bad lead or speaker then the light will come on and you know that 1 needs replacing..hope this helps

My amp is on but the protection light stay's on!!

Disconnect all speaker wires from the speaker terminals of the amp and disconnect signal cables from the amp. If it powers up, the wiring needs to be checked. If the protect light remains on, the amp likely has blown output transistors.
