Hi trimdon tony,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: You have a ceramica PWAU0071 shower screen a box of fittings and no instructions on assembly.

In this case the only advise I can give you is to ask the manufacturer for a copy. That"s what I would do. It can be e-mailed, faxed or snail mailed. Be nice. Just tell them you like the product but you lost the instructions. Works every time.

Feel free contact me again!

It sounds like the diverter is not fully opening to allow the water to run to the spout. If the diverter is in the wall, perhaps there is a seal in there that needs replacing. If it is in the spout, just replace the spout,

How do I adjust water temperature on a Pegasus shower head?

Adjustment is usually on the valve assembly. Take off the big round trim ring and you will find the adjustment on the valve assembly or in the valve stem.

I have a triton Amber 3 shower. No water flows when switched on - but the mains LED is lit and water is available

the solenoid has failed, thus not opening up to allow water flow,i have found that spares are fairly expensive for tritan. if you find out the rating ie 7.5 kw etc then buy a replacement shower from wickes their showers are tritan and are normally like for like fitting, also a lot cheaper than showers that have tritan marked on them.

Hello. Just go to home depot or lowes and get 2-3 spray cans of expandible foam. If you have acces to the opening between the floor and shower floor spray it around the gap. If not, Just use a small drill bit and make some holes around the wood frame and spray it. These foam will secure the shower and also will prevent the shower floor to crack it.

Possibly switch off hot and cold water then undo cold water flange closest to the outlet and see if water comes out.if it does, tap assembly is faulty. If not, go back to where next available connection to the pipe was made. Work back untill you find the problem.

Shower/tub unit does not fit tight at back of unit and if you step in to tub it skeeks

You have a fiberglass tub with tub surround that clamps together and gets screwed in at the top and sides? Did you shim the feet on the floor? Or just rely on the clips that hold it against the wall? If you can still access to the floor, shim everything up, tight, glue in place, then caulk the tub joints, don't caulk it unless you shim it because I don't think it'll work good. you can try it. But,,,,,, hope this helps.

I wonder if belt was replaced with one that almost fit--ie a little long which causes slippage. Also, with enought use, the pulleys can wear out and the v will not grip the belt as it should.
