Your machine must be serviced by a trained technician. Cleaning out the used toner requires disassembly and specialized knowledge and equipment. If you keep using the machine, it will stop working completely when the used toner is full, and will not be usable until the used toner is cleaned out.

the main reason for this could be when you replaced the toner cartridge you have either not put in correctly or an incorrect toner put in. Check the other cartridges to see if when you remove one you get the same error if this is the case you could have a faulty toner. Is the toner an origina Gestetner toner you may need to return it...K
Hi how you doing the main problem with changing the dev bias is that the gap between the drum charge and dev bias has been brought closer and so more toner is being put onto the drum for image density.. I take it you have cleaned the optics on the scanner mirrrors and that the laser **** glass has been cleaned as these effect the copy quality too.. if the dev hasnt been changed at the pm intervals it slowly looses its charge holding capabilities.. you should change at least at the 160k marks to keep quality good.. you could also adjust the laser power up so you have a stronger image formation..hope this helps..if you know the machine I would take the laser unit out too and take the cover off to see if there a dust coating in the image mirrors as this can cause faint copies over a long period.. 1. Check that Dev. unit has the lastest seals. 2. replace dev. material. 3. Dump dev. 4. add new dev. material. 5. Hand rotate the dev. unit 10 times. 6. reinstall the dev. unit into machine. 7. cover the toner inlet opening with a piece of paper 8. insert PCU unit. 9. turn the machine on. 10. When machine reaches ready -- enter SP modes and perform SP-2801 (2 times) 11. open the right cover of the machine. Cheat the right cover switch. Examine the drum as it rotates. Afew bands of toner and the ID pattern will be developed on the drum. The drum should be clean -- a slight dusting on the drum is OK. 12. Perform SP-3001 -- ID sensor initial setting. 13. ** Important** remove the PCU unit. Empty the toner from the PCU by sliding the shutter on the bottom of the PCU to the side and tapping the PCU. 14. reinstall the PCU. 15. Run test copies.
Hello sir; Just follow the steps;
1, dump entire dv use vaccunm cleaner to cleanup don't leave any dv inside.
2, thorughly clean out magnet roller by rubbing alcohal.
3, pour in new dv evenly.
4.Do simulation 2801 & 2805, the procedure as follow;
press"clear mode", "107", press and hold "clear/stop" key for 3 seconds, then press 1 for copier sp then enter2801 press start, after that go to 2805. same procedure. Let me know the resolve.
