Screen is now a weird color

Everything has a weird green tint to it. it wasn't doing this until just the other night, so i'm thinking that i probably hit something inadvertently to switch to this hue. but it's really ugly. how can i switch back to regular? Everything now has this strange green tint to it like that guy says, I have tried everything. Monitor settings on the monitor itself, all the color settings in the control panel, i am currently searching thru all the windows vista prgrams and help centers and things to see if I can fix it, I thought maybe it was a High Contrast Problem, but it seems not to be, I don't know plzm help Also my product is not listed it's a LG Flatron L222WT

Yeah, cheacked that as well, i'm still trying as we speak, almost 2 am here.....i'm getting so frustrated, i've checked all windos help stuff, all windows programs, all the different settings for anything color and image related in control panel and everywhere else I could think of, i've scoured the net for trouble shooting and monitor problems, as well as just searched my monitor model number up and that came up with not much at all. It's either sumthing in vista I just can't figure out, cause i'm still new to it, or my monitor is fucked. But keep sending me your ideas lol, you never know....thanx again btw.

The problem might be in the cable. Try to reconnect it to your machine. Also try to set your color settings on the monitor itself, so that all the colors are equal.

Turned on computer today and my screen is blue green, does not change using monitor buttons?

Sounds like you are using an analog standard VGA cable interface. Since the menu has the correct coloring, it is not the monitors fault. Check the connections of the video cable at each end to ensure they are tight and not kinked. If they are ok, try using a different video cable. If thew problem still exists after that, it is probably the video card in the computer.

Lg flatron w1943tb color fades in and out to a blue green

Follow the following solutions, this should fix up your trouble
1. Turn yourmonitor on. It should be on for at least 20 minutes before you continue.
2.Press the"Auto/Select" button on the front of your computer's monitor. Thescreen will be wavy while the adjustment happens. When the screen stops beingwavy, the faded colors should no longer be visible.
Follow steps 1 and 2 if you do not have a disk for the monitor.

Monitor screen changes from regular color to a green tinted screen?

Looks like you need to purchase a new monitor. If it's too worn out then it's the outcome. I also had the same problem before and I ended up buying a new one. You should not experience that thing if it's new.

Can"t find white or comfortable background screen other than a light green that is hurting my eyes

If you have a screen that gets "tints" of various colors on a corner or edge, check that the monitor plugin cable is not near or laying on top of a power cable, the magnetic field around a power cord will cause a monitor to get strange tints or lines in the screen. Option two if the entire screen has a tint equally all over it is possibly the color is out of adjustment or failing - a technician should be able to adjust it internally.

Screen has a green tint

The instruction manual should tell you how to get into the menu for the monitor to change the color settingts. With a make and model number I can give you step-by-step instructions on how to change them.

Screen is now a weird color

Your video cable has a broken pin inside. Check the cable at the videocard end (bend it in different directions) and do the same at the monitor end. It should become normal, then it's just a case of keeping it in the right position or replacing the video cable.

Hope it helps =)

Screen color is purple

if you have access to another monitor use if to verify the monitor is the problem and not the video card of the computer.
does the monitor allow you to adjust color and tint(hue) because the tint or hue control changes the overall color from green to purple. or the color control circuit has failed leaving you stuc with a purple screen.
