Please clarify the problem. Does dead mean "no power", "no lights", "no fan activity", no Windows...we would like to help, but your question is quite vague.

Please take out the battery and use the ac to power on. Use different outlets as well. If it powers on, it is okay to put the battery back in. If it does not, check for any physical damage on the power cord and the ac adapter. If there is none, you will need to have your laptop fixed. Hope this helps. Thank you.

When i remove my charger, the laptop turns off.

As lond as the battery is still accepting charge from the charger and will run ok on a battery, I wouldn't worry. Pulling the AC power cord isn't a good idea when the laptop is running anyway.

However, what you describe sounds like a dead battery that will no longer accept a charge. Even a battery showing 100% charged can still fail, as it drains in seconds if dead. What kills most batteries is leaving them in the laptop afetr they have charged and running on ac power.

_ma laptop just went dead it charger blinks bt no power s getin to the laptop.

Hi c_odipo,
The problem isn't your laptop because the fault is coming from your charger. Blinking of led light in your charger indicated that it goes in out-of-regulation. To confirmed the fault you need to use another charger with the same output voltage and current ratings. Once confirmed that the laptop will power on with other charger, you need to replaced your own. There some shop that repair this faulty charger, you must find one and ask for estimate how much will be charged to get fix to have an idea whether to buy a new one.
Hope I help you.
Have a nice day!

Hi, My touch screen has gone dead. Is there any

Since the screen is dead I would suggest the easiest way to back up / access important content is through your PC/laptop. Install the necessary Sony Ericsson software on your computer and and connect it to your Sony Ericsson P1i and follow the back up instruction. Hope this helps. Please rate

My inspiron 5160 doesnt power up.

It should power up with the external power supply if it is working properly; you can remove the batteries and it should still work with the external source. If not, then the power section on the laptop is dead and needs servicing.

Dead dell inspiron 6000

Hi, My Name is Henry. I am one of the technicians here.

You need to get the right hard drive for the laptop if you ascertain that is where the problem is.

Also check the book sequence and make sure the 'boot from hard drive' is listed first.

Please do not forget to rate my solutions to you.
