How do I replace the back screen cover?I just bought a new back cover but I cant get the old one off of my acer 3620

run an anti virus and if that does not work go to the right of your screen and put in the search box your question, a solution should pop up .if not call the maker of your computer to see if they can help and since its under warranty they should help you for free. I called mine and since it was still under warranty they helped me!

I bought acer v193hq 8months back. now the screen is broken. what should i do can i claim warranty what will it cost me


From the Acer web site: "Cracked LCD displays are not covered under the normal warranties and should be serviced through our out-of-warranty process."
I would suggest you just buy another LCD. I recently bought one, new, on sale for less than $100.
If this answers your question, I'd appreciate 4 thumbs. I do this for fun and do not get paid.

Laptop doesn't show up in acer listing


Probably the model number of your Acer Aspire 3620 is already discontinued or placed into their archive files. Also, possibility that such model was produced in limited quantity & distributed only to a certain location like in the Philippines. I suggest to email them for your concern thru service@acer.com.ph, for their customer service & support. best regards

Acer aspire 8920 keeps gettin blue sceen of death windows vista brand new comuter under a week old


my friend the best thing to do

take it to the store and u still have the satisfaction warranty

the store will replace it for u

if u cant do that then
remove all peripheral (printer, scanner etc).
go to safe mode and reinstall all the drivers.

that should fix it but if u can get a new one instead all of that agony

When i open up my acer aspire 3620 the screen stays black. I tried to toggle with the fn and f5 keys and i tried to make it brighter but neither worked


Can you see a dim image at all? If you can see the image slightly probably a bad inverter board.

Try to use and external monitor to see if you get an image. If no go probably bad screen or motherboard. Would have to take it somewhere to be diagnosed by a technician.

u simply need to call up acer support as ur acer system is getting heated up and u need to get the servicing scheduled for the cpu fan and heatsink and that should fix the problem

Acer Aspire 3620-factory settings


Acer's ship with the factory recovery built into the system. As long as this has not been deleted you should be able to do it.

Click and Start - > All programs

and look for Acer Empowering Technology

Inside that folder there should be a few different programs (dont' have my acer here so i can't remember the names exactly). One of them will allow you to reset from the harddrive and another one will allow you to make your own recovery disks. I would do this first as that way you have a disk that you can put away in the closet in case your harddrive ever dies and needs to be replaced. If that is the case you NEED the disks as the new harddrive would not be setup to do it for you.

I would believe it's a problem with your motherboard. If you warranty covers it, tell Acer about the problem and have someone fix it. Otherwise, find a PC repair shop near you, and take it in to have it tested. Make sure you figure out what is wrong exactly before you buy new parts if you take it to a repair shop.
