Question about Zenith LST3100A DTV Receiver
All the unit says in "HELLO" on it's display. I can not turn the unit on/off with either the front power button or remote. When I unplug the unit and plug is back in, it comes back with the "HELLO" message.
Got you some help!! Open receiver up...Locate the power supply board. Locate the electrolytic capicitor "C118" and replace. II've fixed multiple LG LST 3100a receiver doing this procedure. Guaranteed to work. I hope you have not throw it away. Cheers!!!!

Tips for a great answer:
Verify that the AC power cord is connected to the DCT*
and an AC outlet.
If the DCT* is connected to a switched outlet on another
unit, verify that that unit is powered on.
Press the POWER button on the DCT* front panel instead
of the remote control. The batteries in the remote control
may be depleted
The DCT* may have received a software update and
may not power on while the new software is being
installed. Try again in a few minutes.
