The BIOS password is probably the Power On Password. This method may not work. Remove the BIOS battery for 20 mins until the charge in the BIOS is depleted. Insert the BIOS battery go into the BIOS setting and set the Date and Time etc. If this does nor work then the BIOS password is stored on an EEPROM chip and removing the BIOS battery won't work and there is probable no backdoor passwords. The Sony support maybe able to offer a solution, check the support WEB site..
If you are talking about a user password and you not remember you set one .. it may be just the log in screen and if you hit enter without a password may just work .. after that go to the user accounts in the control panel .. select the account you use..and click to change the way users log in .. and select welcome screen ..This will remove the screen with the user log in .. may be needed a function to be removed from the lan driver .. if you enabled the lan card log on . another possibility is that someone with access on your computer just made a bad joke and inserted a password.. check out whom might done it and ask for the password or .. reinstall the Operation system in case the password is lost
log on as safe mode
press f5 at first screen then chose safe mode use arrow key and enter, you will sign in as safe mode, log on to administrator user, usually administrator not use password
after log on go to control panel=> user account=>double click at your account usually you use, click change password then insert new password it will change your password account or remove password, turn off your computer then log on to normal mode and use your new password to log on to your user account

You are not typeing in to correct password.
If you can not remember the password, you will have to restore from restoration disks.
Check that your cap locks are not on and you are correct with entered password.
Start up in safe mode pressing F8 on boot up and select safe mode.
When in the system under administrator there will be option for you to delete the password on your account.
Re boot then enter again with no password.
