Have you checked the telephone line first? Make sure that the telephone line works normally before you check the fax machine.

on the controll panel you have a 123 key that show the serial number and totaly of the copys prints,etc.

1) download scan gear for your machine, from official canon download site
2) then you download manual scan gear and install it acc.

Image Runner 3300 or (iR3300) copiers do not come with print/scan OPTIONS installed. These functions must be enabled by installing the correct 'kit'....same with fax option...again, these were 'options' when this machine was introduced, no print, scan, fax,...unless options were added to it. Yes, the buttons are there, however.....

First of all you have to have the scanning option installed in machine. Then from each pc to scan you have to install a software called scangear.
