I lost power due to the storm, when power was restored the microve didnt come back on, i checked brekers, and the 20amp fuse inside the unit, everything was good

Our unit was doing the same thing,
took it into the repair shop, they said there was nothing wrong with the unit, replace the main breaker that supplies power to microwave and try again.
Sure enough the breaker became defective, and we never had issues with it before, but now the unit has not had a single problem.

i had the same problem and did what this fella suggested and worked just fine. There is usually a 125V, 20 AMP line fuse inside the microwave, mounted at the point where the power cord enters the back of the unit. Unfortunately, you will need to uninstall the oven (if this is an over the range model), UNPLUG it and remove the exterior case to access. The case comes off in various ways depending on manufacture and model. If the model number you listed this question under is correct, the line fuse is connected in line with the power cord inside the unit and is listed as part of item 4 in the parts listing (part number STD384200).

If the line fuse is blown, you can usually purchase a box of fuses at a hardware store for just a little more than what the manufacturer charges for a single fuse. 125V, 20AMP Ceramic Slow Blow fuses are recommended.

Possible that during the power outage there was fault in the mains supply and with the oven being plugged on it is possible that the power supply or the main board is damaged.
Unless you are able the top cover it is difficult to confirm if this can be silly fault like a fuse blown which is on the mains circuit or a Step down transformer or the processor board.

You will need to remove the cover and check the fuse....there should be several screws on the edges of the back side...note::they may be what they call security type screws and you will need to obtain special screwdriver bits to remove ...once you get inside there should be a fuse block with a ceramic type MDL fuse in it...you will need to check it with an ohmmeter as the fuse is ceramic and cannot be seen thru....usually these fuses are rated 15-20Amp Type MDL...available at most appliance parts stores...if when you put a new fuse in it blows right away this will indicate that there is a shorted component in the micro that will have to be troubleshooted by a service man

NOTE: Make sure you take any resistance readings with the microwave UNPLUGGED and the component under test isolated (removed) from the circuit. These ovens can blow a fuse by simply sitting idle. This can occur from any power fluctuations, brown outs, voltage spikes, etc. Or, it could be the symptom of a component that may have failed. If you find the internal fuse blown and replace it, only to have it blow again, you have a more significant problem than a simple blown fuse.

Yes, is probably the fuse. I have fixed several microwaves with this problem and the fuse is almost always located just inside where the power cord enters the unit. Just remove the skin (usually screws on the back and BOTTOM also) test the fuse with a micro meter. If no contenuity, replace with same size, type and rated fuse. Most microwaves are 20amp fuse.

When your microwave oven doesn't work at all, it means interior fuse inside the microwave has blown (usually a part inside the microwave makes this fuse blow). Sometimes a bad fuse holder inside the microwave cannot hold the fuse tight enough and the fuse will blow as well. If the fuse isn't the problem, check the door hooks and the door-release button. When these are broken, the door switch doesn't activate, so the oven can't work. It can also be due to a stuck or faulty door switch which might have blown the interior microwave fuse.

Does the unit have power?If not check the back and see if ou can take off. Most unit have fuse back there.

Generally, these units are held to a backing plate with a pair of screws that are accessed by removing the vent plate above the door. There are a couple of Philips screws. Inside...at each end, there is a slot head screw head on a rod. Support the unit and back these screws out. The unit will then pivot from the bottom away from the wall. Detach it and then repair the issues with the hold bracket. Warning: these units are heavy!
