I have a Curtis Mathis TV and my RC24912-D remote is not working and cannot reprogram. The code we have is not working either.

Have you tried downloading the user manual for the TV model you have if there are codes for the REMOTE it should tell you .

I found a perfect fix for the 32 inch Quantum View TVs with a DirecTV remote.

Press Menu (on your directv remote) , go to settings/help>Settings>RemoteControl>Program Remote>TV.

When prompted to choose a brand, select CURTIS MATHIS. The codes from Curtis Mathis should match the codes for your Quantum View TV.

Note: Make sure the remote can 'see' the receiver during this process.

Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says the setup code for a Curtis Mathes TV (without a built-in DVD or VCR) is one of the following numbers: 0030, 0047, 0054, 0060, 0093, 0145, 0154, 0166, 0451, 0702. I can not guarantee these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.

We also bought a universal remote to program a Curtis Mathis TV. We found the code by using the code search method. It works everything but the channel program feature. Does anyone know how to access that? BTW the remote is a GE 24921. Thanks
