I have a hl-t5075s had the bulb replaced. since the replacement, it will pick up all the external input except my playstation 3, says it can't read device. I plug my playstation 3 into another tv and it works.

So its a Samsung DLP with a lamp.

Remove the lamp and inspect the color wheel that faces it, you are looking to see if shattered or missing any pieces of the wheel.

if need more help indicate what lights on set are on or blinking.

Check the temperature sensor located above the lamp. Have to pull one of the wires off it to get a correct reading. Should read 10 ohm or less.

Ballast Board also make sure your Fans are running if Fan stops running to Lamp set will turn off Call Encompass Parts Distr. 1-800-638-3328 visit their website as well. Ballast board is what turns Lamp on.

check the lamp and replace if necessary. otherwise, it may be the colorwheel or ballast.

samsung color weel replacments are all the new air bearing type insted of fluid type. if you replace the new color weel , color will look bad. also note when ordering your replacment make shure it comes from samsung and not just a generic model.
the original replacement will come with a set of instroction to reset the dmv ajustments.
find the dmd pcb and look for a2 jumper that is visable through a small squaire remove the jumper. then folow instrustions with new color weel.
