I assume that you're after Adobe Flash Player, so you'd be able to watch Youtube videos.
If that's so, then follow this link and click on 'Download now'. Save the file and after it finishes downloading, simply install it. Restart your browser and then reload your youtube video page.
You shouldn't need to wait so long for 6-7 MB. Your connection was probably closed or it died on you.
For example, for 6.06 MB, I get a download time estimate of 7 minutes on a 56k modem.

There is a site called ,http://en.kioskea.net. you can download the adobe media player from this site and watch your you tube
videos on your computer. if that is also not working for you , there is another software called Real player Gold, which you can download and see your you tube videos also..
