Hard to explain here. You will probably need pictures to show you exactly. If you don't have the user manual/guide, it should be available on the husqvarna viking website under 'Machine Updates' (bottom right hand corner of home page). From Machine Updates page, select All machines and scroll down until you find your machine listed. Also most viking dealers are familiar with this machine and should be able to help you thread it if you stop by their store with the machine. You can find a dealer near you by using 'Locate a Dealer' link at the husqvarna viking website
I don't know of a way to repair the needle clamp. It will more than likely have to be replaced. The local authorized husqvarna viking dealer should be able to service the machine. You can find the nearest dealer from husqvarna viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us
You have a great machine. These are hard to thread but once you have mastered it, you'll have many years of great use. The owner's manual has instructions, as well as the inside door of the machine (the door that folds down on the front bottom part of the machine. However, you might want to follow-up with your local authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer. Most are eager to help you even if you didn't purchase the machine from them. Some even have classes on using the serger. You might try several stores in the area. Suggest that it be serviced and cleaned by an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
One fundamental tip is to follow the color coding, start with green, then blue/navy, then red, and finally yellow. The sequence is work inside to outside with threading (green - blue - red - yellow). Do not try different order--especially with green and blue -- since the threads build on each other. I have switched yellow and red with no impact but green then blue is always the proper order.
That serger was made for Viking by the Brother company. Just about any sewing machine repair shop should be able to get you a cord and pedal. Call Viking at: 1-800-474-6437 to see if you can get a photo copy of the manual.
Sorry, not familiar with the Huskylock 700. Suggest you visit authorized husqvarna viking dealer. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com Good luck.
