Question about Samsung SGH-a737 Cellular Phone
For some reason my t9 dictionary replaces some of my words with numbers and it gets annoying. I just want to know if there is a way to reset the dictionary for t9.
I ran into this problem as well, and it is extremely annoying. I just lived with it for the longest time and then I finally decided to go looking for a solution. That came to a quick end when I found the Samsung FAQ and it said that there is no way to delete words from the predictive dictionary. However, that got me thinking. If it's predictive, can I teach the predictive to write the correct word? The answer is YES! Open a blank text message, don't worry about a number just go to the text entry portion. Type out the word and press zero to change it to the correct word instead of the numbers. Do this 10-20 times IN A ROW and then the phone will recognize the right word as being most used and change it back to that.
