No volume working on ipod docking station
the system is all working fine eg ff rw play pause but theres no sound at all coming out of the speakers.It even charges fine.is there somethink that makes the sound come through all 3 speakers.

- i just set up this stereo system...the cd,radio, and display all works fine. However, i plugged my ipod in and it seems to be charging and playing...but no sound leaves the speakers? the troubleshooting says to make sure the ipod is connected...that music is playing and to adjust the volume. i have all three suggested completely yet still no sound ..suggestions please?- kristinaleeNov 02, 2008

I would lean towards saying dry joints on the circuit board. You have not said under what conditions sound comes out such as when its first turned on or if you give it a tap or when it gets warm. If you can solder do it yourself or if you are even slightly unsure entrust a competant person. Good luck.
