the washing machine still spins at the 1600spin cycle and empties so would it still be the motor brushes,

I have a Whirlpool front loader and it stops working about 10 times or more during a cicle. I need to go back over and over to press the start button again, which is harder to start each time. Any idea???

Washing machine fault

Usually indicates door is not closed properly.
If it is shut securely, and still does not work, then you could have a faulty door lock.
Another possibility is the control unit could be faulty.

Suggestion: The pipe behind your machine has to have a certain height (the machine drain pipe); it does not go directly into the drain at floor level. Check this out.
