I have a Panasonic DP-C262. When powered up the fan comes on and the display panel is backlit but there are no characters in the display and nothing works. I have been told is is probably the (expensive)'motherboard'. Any ideas or a source of parts?

Call Service 12 means that the color motor rotation detection signal (LD) does not go Low.
After the LCD indicates this error turn the power off/on & perform the motor test by pressing the MENU, #, 9000, *556 and press 2 & set buttons. See if this helps you with this issue.

the diagram will show where it is but refer to user manual. if no paper then a sensor has become dislodged and will need to be reseated

It shold be a round cilader that should be the toner which is in a slid out drow which shold be in the may compartment of the printer. You will need to slid it out pull the toner out and place a new one in and firmly slide the draw back in.

Check jumper connection board for proper contact

in finder click on help , type in "no colour" see if theres anything in there that can help.

That code indicates a bad FUSER unit.

When making copies, there is line on the copies. How do I resolve this issue?
