Samsung a737 im stuck ..i got a samsung a737 and it is saying phone locked enter password when i turn it on ..i didnt set a password and i already tried the last four digits of my number and four zero's ..is their a solution ..thanks a ToN. imei 355992015876088

If you did not get this new then someone else had the phone and locked it; take it back where you got it and they will unlock your phone

So my phone (samsung sgh-a737) is locked and is asking for 4 to 8 digit password..how do i unlock it?


1. Remove SIM card and power up phone.
2. ENTER on the keypad *2767*3855# (wait 10-15 seconds) phone will reboot(restart)

  • Remove SIM card and power up phone.
  • Using the keypad, enter *2767*3855#.
  • Wait 10-15 seconds.
  • Phone will reboot and the settings will be factory settings again.

i'm sorry to say but the only way to unlock the locked phone is to enter "*2767*3855#." onto it and it will factory reset everything so your pictures will be gone...

Sorry bnthecliff but on the A737 phone, the autolock feature can not be turned off.

My friend and I just did this and it worked. It resets your phone back to factory default settings.

1. Remove SIM card and power up phone.
2. Using the keypad, enter *2767*3855#.
3. Wait 10-15 seconds.
4. Phone will reboot and the settings will be factory settings again
