Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
My young son (8 yrs old) broke the screen on his psp, just out of warranty!.
I ordered a replacement screen myself as I am (usually) fairly competent fixing electronics, and I have replaced it - and it works, At least the LCD works but the backlight doesn't.
Aside from the large ribbon connector on the screen there is a (very) small one on the left hand side looking down - does this power the backlight?
I broke the top of the thing that this small ribbon is suppoesed to connect to butI thought that it was just designed to hold it in place so I superglued the connector on to keep it in place. Perhaps I should have soldered it.
Am I starting to sound like an idiot?! Any advice you can give me might help put me back on the top of his super-heroes list - help!!!
Don't try to fix complicated electronics... now you have really broken it.
