You should be able to go into the gear looking button near notification on the right hand side of the screen in your group page. Then edit group settings and make sure you choose save at the bottom. If this doesn't work you will have to ask for help from facebook support.
ok, when you made the group, the creator should have automatically become the admin. What you need to do is go to the group page. Go to the panel on the left and click on edit group settings. then at the top you should see a tab named members. Click on that and it should show you all the people in the group. Click the admin tab on that to find out who is the admin or just click to the right of the name of who you want to be admin on the make admin button.
If you are the owner of the group go to the page of your group then click "Edit Page" just right under the profile picture. Then click "Manage Admins" and press "Add another admin". You may now type in your friend's name and click "Save Changes".
Keep in mind that you can only do this if you have admin privileges in the group.
1. When you log on to your facebook page, press the Home option on the top right of your facebook screen.
2. On the menu options down the leftt side of the screen press Groups
3. At the top of the screen press the + create new group button.
4. Follow the steps and enter relevant details.
5. Initially set yourself as the administrator of the group.
There are different options for privacy of the group and who can see the information of the group etc. See the groups help link on the groups first page (near the middle of the page)
For complete privacy the best option is "Secret: These groups cannot be found in searches or be viewed by non-members. The name of the group will not display on the profiles of members. Membership is by invitation only. Non-members will not receive stories about secret groups."
Make sure you are the Group administrator so you can adjust the settings or change the privacy/viewing options at any time by clicking "Edit Group" below the group photo after the group has been created.
You can create a group by going to the Groups application and clicking "Create aGroup" in the upper right corner of the page. On the following page, you will be able to add descriptive information about your group. All groups require a groupname, description and group type. Click "Create Group" when you are finished.
After you have added this information, you will then be able to control settings related to your group’s privacy and add a group picture. You can change these settings at any time by clicking "Edit Group" on the group’s main page.
