RCA Model D52W20B Serial # F074C312B Chasis ITC222 Set does not turn on the power light comes on then flashes and goes off. I need the part number in order to fix the problem

All the ITC222 series will blink 19 if they have a no start situation regardless of the problem, Since the set wont power up the Main eprm cant communicate so it blinks 19 which means it cant identify the chassis. When you press the power to turn it on does the power light come on briefly then go out 3 times? Let me know and I will assist you with the problem. Also do you hear any sounds when the power is pressed?

The CP150, CP114 and CP120 repair kit available from www.tvrepairworld.com should repair that issue. The kit contains the parts and the CD with instructions. Its 24.95

sounds like bad capacitors on the RCA itc222 chassis.Need the model number of your set to help

the fl231 problem is unique to the rca itc222 chasis the model mm52100 is not this chasis. wackey? describe the picture. You may have a solder problem or a compnent overheating.

the fl231 fuse problem will apply to any itc222 chasis set. The hd52w20 is an itc22 chasis.. although i have not seen it in that set if you do not have the convergence option in setup. that is my first choice in possible problems. a simple ohm chech of that fuse can determine if it open. Warning this television can generate potetial leathal voltages care should be taken when working with set with back off.

I see alot of these sets in the shop. first question... does the front led flash green or come on at all. if so then that elemenates the "main fuse" the processor is recieving power and then it "sees" a problem then shuts the set down. The problem is with these set it can be one of about 25 different problems. Most of them involve the high voltage source. Technicians have a special computer interface much like a automobile to read" error code". that help them determine the problem. The only thing you can try is unplug the set for 30 min then try again to turn it on...

57 inch rca....Sounds like you have a itc222 chasis but cant be sure... what is your model of the set. d52w20 maybe.. or something simular.. blinks green 3 times sound familar... get me that model number and we cant start the troubleshooting process

The itc222 chasis from rca is known for this. The processor shuts down the set for any number of about 25 reasons. As a customer the first thing you do is unplug the set for about 30 min to reset the processor. ( I have never seen this work but it is the first step. The conclusion that you also can draw is the main fuse is okay. This set can be read by a technician with a computer to learn error codes generated by processor. But this is where the troubleshooting begins.

this particular rca also know as a itc222 chasis has a safety shutdown cuircit.. if it detect any problem. high voltage. over current over voltage ..one of 20 problems. it will shut down. if the unit tries to come on that idicates its more than just a fuse. first question u ask is after the set been unplug for 30 minites then plug back up does the set come on or try to come on does the led light flash on the front. does it try to come on 3 times then shut down. there is special diagnostic equipment techs used to read errors recorded in the processor.
