I have a network with one desktop which is always on, one Sony Bravia TV and one laptop. All connected via D-Link powerlines (306/307 AV). My laptop connection is problematic. When the laptop restarts,...

Here is the link to the D-Link website: http://www.dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=DHP-307AV&tab=3

I would suggest downloading and updating the firmware for the device(s). Also, because it is expanding the wireless reach of your router via electrical wiring, any interference may inhibit the correct functioning of the system. I would suggest you try connecting to your wireless without the powerlines active to ensure it is not a faulty router or wireless card. If it still does not work with the powerlines deactivated, you may need to look into getting a new router or wireless adapter.

Hope this helps.

To correct this issue visit Device Manager by going to Start, then right click Computer, choose Device Manager. Once you are in the device manager click the + next to Network Adapters. Find your wireless network adapter, right click it, and choose uninstall. Once you uninstall the drivers, right click and choose Scan for Hardware Changes. This will then have your computer re-add the drivers.

How do I install my Belkin F5D7051 wireless adapter without the installation CD?

To install the adapter you will definately need a disc. because the adapter will not work without the Drivers. Drivers are very important for the adapter. One more thing that if you have WIN XP or VISTA then you don't need the set up utility but still you need the drivers for the adapter.
If you do not have the disc. You can download the drivers from the manufacturer's web site and install the drivers for your adapter.
