Question about Mitsubishi WD-52725 52". Rear Projection HDTV
I repalced the lamp in my tv (wd-52725). I was told to reset the lamp hours through the TV setup menu but I can't find this option in TV setup. The lamp indicator light on the front of the TV is still on.
When you replace the lamp as soon as you power up the set it should automatically bring up the menu asking if you have replaced the lamp and would you like to resett the lamp hrs. Your problem is not with the lamp. its most likely the power pwb capacitors. You can get the repair kit at the following link with instructions.

Tips for a great answer:
Reset the lamp hours through the TV setup menu each time you replace the lamp cartridge. Otherwise,
the lamp warning message will reappear sooner than necessary.
After you change the lamp cartridge, you must reset the lamp
reminder through the TV Setup menu
Go to the setup menu, there you can see the reset proceedings with illustration. OK.
