Hello Sandra, thank you for your response, I put my machine away for awhile, I am going on vacation and I will try it in when I get back home. I'm sure it will be what I'm looking for as I didn't go that far in the alphabet. Again thank you and I will get back to you at a later date. Sonia

It has been awhile since I used my Deco 600 but I think I know the answer. I am not sure if you are using a card or the built in script but go all the way thought the alphabet to the very end and you will find a _ this is a space. Hope this helps..I have just found this site by accident. Lots of good advice for we Deco owners..

How do I program a space into my Husqvarna Viking #1? I read everything that came with it and can program one word but want to program a name.

Usually, in the alphabet there is an "underscore" which is the space. Remember, unless you stop and cut the thread and then manually move the fabric to make a space, there will be a continuation of the thread which would appear as the underscored space.

How do you add a space between words (character space) on the Ellure?

The space is the icon that looks like underline. There is no underline

Placing a space between words on the lcd screen.

Go to the end of the alphabet and use the underscore.

This will leave a space and not actually stitch the underscore.

Spacing between words

I have the Model 600. In the characters, there is one that looks like an "underline". Actually, it allows a space between words and does not make an underline mark. Some of the embroidery machines use that character to allow a space between words instead of having a "space" character.

I can't find out how to put a space between words or names when embroidering on the Brother PE 700II. I am also not able to find out how to do this in any of the instruction manuals.

I am not totally sure but I do not think you can leave a space. If you are doing two or more words and want to leave a space then you would have to completely finsh sewing at the end of each word(cut the thread) and start the next word seperate. To continue sewing straight through the thread will remain attached and will form a stitch. Sounds strange but if you think about it, it is logical, with the machine threaded and sewing, every needle stroke WILL form a stitch. Other thing you could do is at the end of every word select an "underscore" and stitch this to whatever gap you need between words then start your new word. Once you have finished unpick the "underscore.
Sounds a bit complicated and time consuming but as I said I have never been asked this before and it is a guess at a solution.
Best of luck

Changing script size on Cassette B

If you have lost your information booklet the best thing is to reorder one from the company. You can do this by going online and simply typing in the name and no. of your machine. Most manufacturers will send a new book free. They may also have a number to call for that information.

Sewing from m-memory

Hi Ann,
m-memories are not stitched with the hoop or embroidery unit. They are stitched with the #2 sewing foot and with the feed dogs up just like any of the 9mm decorative stitches on the machine.
