This happens when your laser is not able to read the data of the disc. Either u are using disc which the player cannot read or the disc is not readable. If your CD player is not reading the discs which it used to read earlier then CD player laser head has to be replaced.
Hi, Try cleaning the Disc with a disc cleaner or lint free cloth, also please try another couple of games just to make sure that its not the disc causing the problem. If other discs work fine it could be your disc is damaged in some way, if other discs do not work then could be a prolem with the Xbox 360s Drive laser head. If this is the case you may want to send it for repair, or if your under warrenty then you should get a free replacement.
where you say u have cleaned the lens have you been in side it, if so does the dvd spin round when you put a disc in, if it does and it doesnt read try a cd in it if it reads that then it will be the lazer, if it doesnt read it it could still be the lazer but could be a few other things like spin motor.
hmmmm.... try to take off the cover of your dvd player and observe it.(if you try my advice, try it in your own risk and with caution) then check the tray maybe there is something got stuck in there and also check the gears, if nothing, a belt just came off. check the motor too, I guess It has 2 switches too. clean them up. and then try to power up.
note:
(keep you fingers away at the power supply section)
